Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection (ICIAR 2026)

On behalf of International Society for Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection (ISIPAR), the Organising and Scientific
Committees of the XI International Congress on Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection (ICIAR 2026) are pleased to
invite researchers, scholars, professionals and students to submit their contributions for presentation at the upcoming
Congress, which will be held in Napoli, Italy, from 17 to 19 June 2026.
The Congress celebrates the 20th anniversary of the ISIPAR and will offer a unique opportunity for dialogue among
researchers and practitioners from around the world.
Abstract Submission
Abstracts should be submitted via the online submission form available on the Congress website
(www.iciar2026.com/abstracts-submission). Each abstract must be written in English and should not exceed 250 words.
The abstract should briefly state the purpose of your research, principal results (providing specific effect sizes and their
statistical significance, if possible) and major conclusions. Authors are required to provide 1 to 5 keywords for the
abstract.
▪ Abstract Submission deadline: 18 February 2026
All accepted abstracts will be published in a Special Issue of the international journal TOPIC
(topic.oprc.it/index.php/topic/about), the official journal of the Psychologists’ Association of the Campania Region (Italy).
The publication will be open access and each abstract will be assigned a DOI.

Submissions are welcome on all topics related to interpersonal acceptance-rejection across the lifespan and within

Types of Contributions
Participants are invited to submit proposals in one of the following formats:
▪ Oral Presentations
▪ Poster Presentations
▪ Symposia (comprising 3–5 coordinated papers on a shared topic)
▪ Workshop or Roundtable
Authors are strongly encouraged to propose and organise symposia to foster in-depth discussion on specific themes of
major relevance for current research and clinical practice.
