On 24 & 25 August, the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG), an international organization devoted to understanding child alignment, is offering an international conference for mental health and legal professionals to provide practical, evidence-based information about children who align with one parent and resist contact with the other.
Topics will include how to distinguish the various types of child alignment—for example, how to distinguish parental alienation from realistic estrangement—and how to manage such situations, clinically, legally, and personally. Other topics will include prevention, child protection issues, clinical treatment, legal interventions, and judicial interventions.
The speakers are well-known specialists in child alignment, parental alienation, realistic estrangement, pathological enmeshment, and child maltreatment. They include mental health and legal experts from both the U.S. and Europe.
